Follow these steps to reset Binatone DT 845W Wireless ADSL2+ Router.
1. Use a safety pin and press the reset button on the back side of the Binatone router. Press the button for around 10 seconds till the lights go off and router restarts.
2. Thats it. The router is reset to factory defaults.
Now you can login to router admin page using the following credetials.
Username: admin
Password: password

you have to reset ur router to its factory settings, once u done with this.. if u r using the modem which s previously configured with airtel or any other providers. pls go through all pages in router u ll find airtel details in a page, jus deactivate that n enter ur new settings, which u got from bsnl. ur proplem solved. if success pls revert/

You can use the Binatone Router with BSNL broadband. All you have to do is – ask the BSNL technician to save their settings to your modem.

I just got MTNL Triband internet. Before this I was using Airtel broadband. I have one modem of Binatone ADSL2+ model. Will this modem work on MTNL system. Are the techinician proficient and efficient to configure this modem with MTNL network? Will somebody assist me in this regard.
Yes. You can use Binatone modem with your MTNL broadband connection.

Your Binatone DT845 can work with bsnl BB both lan and Wifi mode. But incase u find Wifi is not working, i.e the setting u are looking are disabled probably u have to downgrade the firmware.

i pressed the reset button in a quest of fixing a internet problem…now my wifi name has changed to “Airtel” and when i try to connect it asks for user name and password..i tried “admin” for username and “password” for password…it again asked for Domain/username and Password(token)…i tried “admin” and “password”…but it says windows cant connect…plz help
for the second time when it asks for domain and tokeen, the dialogue box title is “EAP TTLS”

I am using binatone router which has 4 ports. What is the 4th port used for. The first three ports are meant for internet. I am using Tatasky connection for my tv who provides Video on Demand through router to TV. Till yesterday it worked properly. Now there is not indication of light on 4th port. Whether the problem is with the tatasky wiring or with the modem. The other three ports are working with airtel internet. Please help
If its airtel , try your 8 digit Airtel account number as the password…it worked for me when the customer care exec told me.

Hello,Since You reseted the Router you need to reconfigure wifi settings so login to modem page i.e 192.168.1.1 username : admin, Pasword: password,afetr login click Interface setup in that click Wireless there u will find Multiple SSID settings there in SSID Enter ur N/W Name and N/W Authentcation : WPA-PSK, Encryption: TKIP, Pre Shared Key: Enter ur wifi passwd min 8 Characters and don’t change any other settings click SAVE then u can search for wifi N/W and u can connect
i am airtel field network engineer..now one customer house here..i did modem hard reset..but modem login page not opening..username admin password..password or accountnumber give it..but auto config modem lan only…plz help me

I have a firmware update tool which will make the airtel specific router to an open router and can be used with any service provider. I got the tool from binatone cuatomer care.
